Who is Firestar Developments?

Established in 2000 by our Director Tony Lenan we are predominantly a commercial property development group based in Queensland but active throughout Australia. Firestar has undertaken projects and provided consultancy services from Perth in the west, to Launceston in the south, Cairns to the north, and in many metropolitan and  regional and rural areas in between.

Firestar works primarily in the retail and industrial sectors with occasional ventures into residential real estate. 

In the retail sector we have extensive experience in large format or bulky goods projects.  We purchase greenfield sites and develop new retail showrooms or bulky goods  complexes but we are also adept at re-purposing existing buildings. We have converted ex hardware stores and even a former ten pin bowling alley into multi-tenant retail complexes. Refurbishing, re-leasing and breathing new life into tired old commercial properties is also a passion of ours.

We are also well experienced in industrial real estate. Be it a “CityCave” to store your classic vehicles or other “toys” in or a large format state of the art industrial building to base a business in we have the capability to deliver.  Indeed we are proud to be official preferred developers at the $120M 30 hectare Yatala Industry Hub in Queensland.

Our retail developments are generally sold shortly after completion giving our purchasers a new fully let commercial property in a fantastic position with secure long-term leases, great depreciation benefits and great long term capital gain potential. Generally ranging in value from $2M to $10M our properties are particularly popular with self-managed superannuation funds, and other private investors.

Firestar also provides a commercial and retail consultancy service. Usually in consultation with our key group of national tenants we identify and acquire sites for new retail showrooms or retail outlets. We then identify suitable sites and either acquire and develop the required new store or, where that is not feasible, negotiate the lease of an existing store on behalf of the tenant.
